Hyde Park wouldn't be the same in the weeks leading up to December with out it's ever so festive winter wonderland! A great place to take the kids to keep them entertained, with plently of rides and attractions. For the adults there is plently of mulled wine and cider, be sure to check out the Bavarian village for some great beer and traditional German food. The Angels Christmas Market is a fantastic place to pick up some Christmas gifts and decorations. The best news about this event is it's absolutely free to visit, even take the kids to see Father Christmas for no cost at all. Ice skating has to be a must on your holiday plans this year especially when you are skating surrounded by one of London's most iconic buildings! The ice rink at the National History Museum is now open so head on down there to enjoy the skating magic! Tickets start from £8 and the rink is open from 8.45-22.00 on weekends and from 10.00am on weekdays. At night the rink is lit up with beautiful Christmas lights with amazing surroundings.
