Tapas Time

by Elizabeth, 31st March 2010

The clocks going forward this weekend are the official sign that summer is on its way and what better way to celebrate than with some Spanish fayre from La Tasca ; the perfect food to get you in the holiday mood!

In Spain, tapas are small plates of food that are served with drinks or before a main meal, but at La Tasca the choice is so great, tapas are more than enough for a main meal! La Tasca recommend three to four dishes per person (depending on how hungry you are!) and tapas are usually shared between friends around the table. All the dishes are served at the same time giving you chance to sample lots of gorgeous flavours all at once but watch out; they’re so good you might not want to share yours after all!

La Tasca offers a huge range of dishes to choose from, catering for every taste from meat lovers to vegetarians and from the health conscious to those of us who love a good blow out once in a while.

You could try a mini paella full of succulent chicken, a light and tasty goat’s cheese and Spanish olive salad, spicy chorizo sautéed in red wine or huge tiger prawns with lemon and sea salt. Whatever your palate there is sure to be something on the menu to tickle your taste buds.

So you might be drooling already, but wait, it gets better! Not content with simply presenting you with a tantalizing menu, La Tasca are also offering 50% off tapas to share to celebrate the launch of their new Spring menu.

Their new Spring menu features authentic Spanish produce including serrano ham and pear salad, cheese and serrano ham croquettes and new tapas paellas, which are made using an authentic paella rice imported from the Valencian region of Spain.

This 50% offer is available Sunday to Friday until 1 April 2010, all you need to do is fill in your details HERE print of your voucher and take it along to your nearest restaurant.
