They have researched this and found that just last year only 0.6% percent of all internet shopping was done via the mobile phone. This is just under £123 million in mobile sales compared to just over £21 billion in online retail shopping. It has the potential to be really big business for the mobile phone companies.
So is shopping this way any scarier than using the internet? I suppose it isn’t, and I had no problem handing over my credit card details for that all important item on sale online, so why should I be wary of doing the exact same thing on my mobile phone?
