The release date on the much anticipated iPhone 5 has had tech geeks and Apple fans across the world speculating for months but finally there may be a glimmer of hope the new super phone is on its way and it won't be long before we can get our hands on it! Apple have announced an event date to discuss the latest gadget named 'Let's Talk iPhone' on the the 4th October. Rumours have also been flying as to whether this date is the actual release day of the phone. So once again the tech world waits with baited breath for Apple to give their final word. Here we discuss a few of the rumoured features of the new iPhone 5.
According to recent research the iPhone 5 is set to take on 42% of Android users and a further half of Blackberry users. Whilst different studies show varying figures either way you view them it shows that Apple will be dominating in the marketshare for smartphones. Providing they can deliever a new generation of iPhone and not merely an upgrade to the iPhone 4.

- •A new OS upgrade, as did all other iPhones, the iPhone 5 is said to be launching with an upgraded operating system iOS 5 which included over 200 new features.
- •Enhanced battery life and more memory is said to be on the list of new features with the iPhone 5 featuring a 64 GB version.
