Company History

Asda stores limited was founded in 1949 in Leeds, with stores originally based in the north of the UK Asda expanded further south in 1989 by buying large stores from rival Gateway Superstores for £705 million. By 1997 Asda has 230 stores and were purchased by American group Wal-Mart in 1999. Asda is one of the UK's largest supermarkets and launched its online store as well as its own clothing range, George, to further its brand.

Delivery

Asda delivery cost is free when you select standard delivery which will take 3 to 5 working days, for a faster service which will take 2 to 3 working days it will cost £2.95 or next day delivery is priced at £4.50. Please note for large items there is a £18.95 charge and it can take 5 to 10 days for delivery. Alternatively you can collect in store where possible, please check for costs involved online. From time to time you will find Asda voucher codes so you can gain free delivery.

Returns

If you are not satisfied with any of your products purchased you can return your items to either your local Asda store or you can return to Asda online, please see online for the customer service number in order for you to return items, you have 28 days to claim a refund. Refunds will be issued using the same method of the goods paid for and orders purchased using a discount code will be refunded based on the promotional price.
